You become what you practice. Practice suffering and you will get suffering. Practice becoming healthy and you will become healthy. Practice love and compassion and you will become more loving and compassionate.

Salisbury - St Osmunds
New Beginners Evening Classes
Starting 2nd February 2012
Thursdays: 7pm to 8.30pm
We will soon be starting a new class on Thursday evenings at St Osmunds Primary School, Salisbury. This will take the form of three 10 week terms where you will have the opportunity to learn the basic movements of the whole Wu Style short form. If you are interested in beginning to study Tai Chi and reap the health benefits of this wonderful art, then please sign up now!
The classes will be 90 minutes each and have a formal progressive structure based on:
- Qigong warm up
- Circling Hands Qigong and other Tai Chi related exercises
- Wu Style short form
To learn the whole form you would need to commit to three 10 week terms, paid in blocks of 10 weeks. The terms will run throughout the year with breaks where appropriate for public and school holidays.
Once you have paid for a block you will have committed your funds to the term's study, whether you attend the classes or not. For this commitment on your part, we will set the fees for each 10 week term at £80, which saves you £10 per term on our current standard charges.
The material taught in this course will be much more detailed as a consequence of having committed students attend the lessons, so of you are really interested in learning Tai Chi that has a very high pedigree then you should seriously consider signing up for the course, as we would find it difficult to accept new students once we have begun the progressive teaching.

Salisbury is a cathedral city located in the south-east of Wiltshire, near the edge of Salisbury Plain. It sits at the confluence of five rivers: the Nadder, Ebble, Wylye and Bourne are tributary to the Avon, which flows to the south coast and into the sea at Christchurch, Dorset. Salisbury railway station serves the city, and is the crossing point between the West of England Main Line and the Wessex Main Line making it a regional interchange.
